We are Trans Asia Pacific Aviation Trainning (TAPAT) a Flying School joint venture with Asia Pacific Flight Training (APFT) – Malaysia. In line with our rapid growth, we currently seeking qualified candidate to join us for the following position :

DEPUTY PRINCIPAL

Primary Purpose And Functions :

The Deputy Principal will serve as the back-up on-site authority to the Principal. The Deputy Principal is responsible for assisting in directing and implementing all assigned functional and on-site support related to company program.

He/she may periodically interactions with Airport Authority, Labor Relations, Regulatory Agencies and Local Government Offices. Assignments involve overseeing the full range of management, operations, safety, budgeting, engineering, marketing and program issues in coordination with the Principal.

Essential Functions And Responsibilities :

• The Deputy Principal reports to Principal. Decision making authority is given to Deputy Principal as specified by the Principal for executing the requirements of contract and will be held accountable for designated authority to include but not limited to : contracting, service quality and safety standards
• Guidelines for the work under the responsibility of the Deputy Principal comprises ; policies, regulations, standards and policies, standard operating procedures
• Responsible for assisting in maintaining compliance with the company’s compliance program and company policies
• He/she may assist the Principal on personnel matters prior to the company making any major personnel decisions related to discipline or termination

Requirements :

• Male / Female with max 45 years old
• A Bachelor's Degree
• Knowledge of fundamental management principals and management practices applicable with program development, strategic planning and company’s performance goals and objectives
• Having professional knowledge and skill in Marketing area would be an advantage
• Must possess strong oral and written interpersonal communications skills
• Must possess skills necessary to develop, analyze and update financial records, project reports, staffing plans and budget submissions.

• Must have previous working experience for student recruitment at International School or University/College or Flying school
• Having working experience for minimum 10 years
• Having a good interpersonal relationship, analytical, problem solving,  business ethic and good corporate governance
• Having good communication in English both written and oral
• He/she must have sufficient computer skills to meet all demands
• He/she must be willing to be based in Surabaya
